My Terms of Sale:
All amounts are given in Canadian dollars. To adhere to the eBay User Agreement, all sales that are not conducted in person will be conducted via eBay. (A "buy now" listing for one pre-approved buyer is possible.) Thus Cash, an Interac Email Money Transfer or PayPal via eBay are the only accepted methods of payment. All sales are final; so there will be no refunds. However, under unusual circumstances, some manner of exchange or replacement is possible.
Unless specified otherwise in the item listing, all items are for local pick-up only. Any order that I do agree ship will incur an additional $10.00 per shipment (not per item) handling fee -- in addition to the actual cost of postage. And for those items I am willing to ship via Canada Post ExpressPost, my local postal outlet only accepts cash, so I require cash in hand before I will ship an order. Thus I only accept an Interac Email Money Transfer for any order that is shipped.
Unless specified otherwise in the item listing, products are sold (by www.allensmith.net) as not DOA when picked-up, but otherwise AS-IS. This means that if a problem is discovered with a purchased item, then I must be notified within 30 days of the pick-up. As any intermittent problem that effects the reliability of the item-- and possibly invokes the not DOA warranty-- should manifest itself well within 30 days of use.
For equipment sold in the Toronto area, this 30 days can also include the courtesy of some very basic technical support, for the purpose of ensuring that (per above) there are no unresolved intermittent problems with what was sold. Any technical support that goes beyond that scope is a separate billable service, where an estimate would be provided before proceeding with anything that will incur additional charges.
