Belcourt Beads Et Cetera is a family owned and operated business.  We run our business from our home in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada - We are proudly Canadian!

The Belcourt family goes back to 1760 (as far as we can go todate) to my Great Great Great Great Grandparents, Louis Kwarakwante and Marie Patenaude.  They bore 9 children and so we began.  My grandfather Alfred Wilfred Belcourt and my grandmother  Florence Courtoreille gave me my wonderful mother and 9 aunts and uncles.  This is where I give my business sense credit to.  My grandfather was a fur trader until the day he died.  The Belcourt Family has owned and still owns many business across Canada.  We are proud of our Metis Heritage.

This is the third business we have owned.  The one before Belcourt Beads was a women's consignment store in Edmonton that I started from bare bones and grew into a successful business that was sold when I became pregnant with our youngest daughter.  We have two daughters and one granddaughter.

I miss the personal face to face contact with my customers but as I get to know all of you, I feel that I can see your faces anyway.
