SARA-NIKI-SALES

Chantili Art Glass sold on eBay, January 2005

 This is

cumos55

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada,

A Central Canada eBay Seller

at about the east-west geographical centre of Canada and the USA,

about 70 miles north of the Canada-US border at North Dakota.

-------------------------------------------------------

It has been asked many times.  What does it take to sell on eBay?

It is knowledge and above all experience ...  the selling of what one knows best.

This seller became involved with antiques and collectables about 35 years ago..filled up a house with furniture, artwork and collectables.

Books are an important part  of sales on eBay..Science and technology,  Canadian history, sports, the automobile, and  fashion...    music books and sheet music in printed form ..    toys such as model trains, and building toys  such as Lego, and Duplo..     Then add in glassware, pottery and some jewelry.

Everything sold on eBay has been  found in and around Winnipeg.  At any one time there is a part of this seller's experience in every item listed on eBay.

This seller has lived in Winnipeg, for most of his life.  From 1971 to 1980 it was also seven  years in Edmonton, Alberta, and two years in Ottawa, Ontario.

Blue Mountain Pottery Red Rooster Wall Clock sold January, 2006

Who is cumos55? Born in Winnipeg and grew up in North Winnipeg.  This seller's grandparents immigrated from the Ukraine and Poland in the early 1900's.

Education...  Completed high school followed  with a first University degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis on beef and dairy cattle.  Then came graduate degrees in animal nutrition and animal biochemistry.

Languages. Ukrainian was learned early in life in evening school ... also allowing one to read Russian,  a dictionary helps.  French was a part of the curriculum starting at grade 7, with one year of Latin also completed.

Music.   This seller's instrument was the piano accordion, and after about 15 years cumos55 became quite proficient.   The piano accordion was more than polkas, waltzes and tangoes.   It was classical music and jazz as well.  Also,  sang in the high school choir.

Fitness...   There was a period of time when  this seller swam and ran many miles as a part a regular fitness program. The knees have given out many years ago.

Sports came late in life.  Hockey is in the blood of every Canadian, as a spectator.  Soccer was the one team sport started as a post-graduate.   There was a time when all three children played soccer. The oldest son continued in soccer until age 15, with his father as his coach for many a successful year.  The other two children, a boy and girl,  moved on to artistic gymnastics.  The boy continues with gymnastics at a senior level, while the girl now trains in track and field.. pole vault, long jump and triple jump.

Ultimately it was research and teaching at a university. The years at the university were cut short due to budgetary constraints.  It was then that cumos55 became a stay-at-home father, with three children,  for 14 years.   Now this person   is selling on eBay.

It is the intent  of cumos55, as a seller, to provide items, with an emphasis on quality and the unusual, for sale to buyers world wide.

It is the desire   of this seller to complete 100 % of transactions quickly, with quick payments from all buyers.
