The fabulous fifties My favourite place was my Nan's house in South Vancouver. I grew to love all the antiques and fabulous vintage items in her home. From the classic 50's kitchen where we did our baking to the dining room with the china and favourite treasures on display in the wood cabinet. I loved the vintage bar with seating for 6 and enough depression era glasses for very large party. The rec room with a pool table, dart board. antique couch, stand up lamps and eames era end tables was a popular place for us kids. In the living room my grandparents had a cabinet record player and we played little red,yellow, and green records with songs like "rock-a-bye baby songs, bibbity bobbity boo march,whistle while you work" and "The night before christmas".
