Hi Everyone.

My name is Suzanne, I live in beautiful Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.  I am of native heritage, my father was a full blooded Cree Indian and my husband, before passing away was full blooded Algonquin.  I have been crafting for over 15 years now and running my own business.  Through the years I have explored several areas in Native Crafts from dreamcatchers to pottery to jewelry and back again.  Going back to dreamcatchers has always been where I ended up simply because of how much the beauty shows through in them.  Whether you believe the Native stories behind them in regards to how they will take away the bad dreams and only leave the good dreams in your sleep or not.  The simple beauty of a dreamcatcher can in itself provide comfort and sleep.  Working with my hands and using imagination has been a big part of how I create anything I work on. 

I pride myself on making several original dreamcatchers, one of a kinds, I find so many enjoy the idea, thought, feeling and joy of knowing the one they recieve is like no other.  That noone else has one exactly like it.  Often I have taken requests from people who have enjoyed designing their own dreamcatcher for me to put together for them.  Choosing their own colors, beads, feathers, size, etc...  It was then that I began to realize how much people enjoy that "noone has one like it" feeling.
