SESAME

Twenty thousand years ago, an ancestor of mine (and probably yours, too) twisted the fibrous remains of a rotten plant together and created the first spun thread - and look where it's gotten us today!! Back then, the first item created was meant to enhance our ability to procreate, by advertising our readiness and attracting a suitable suitor - my, things haven't changed that much.  As you can probably tell, I am a bona fide, certifiable, self-confessed, totally unrepentant FIBRE-HOLIC.  As many of us do, I had gathered a stash which threatened to crowd us out of our home, so I opened a shop.  When I couldn't find enough interesting yarn for the shop, I learned to spin and found fibres, when the fibres couldn't completely feed my habit, I got the Angora rabbits which are a constant source of pleasure.  I breed my does 3 times a year and all the babies are hand-raised to be friendly, communicative, spoiled house rabbits. THERE ARE ALWAYS A COUPLE OF BABIES AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION. Please feel free to contact me at info@knit-knackers.com if you would like any rabbit information. They make wonderful, renewable fibre pets but require a considerable commitment.  I am always available for advise on care, medical concerns, habits, shearing/plucking, etc. Please note that any rabbit purchase must be picked up in Ottawa, I will not ship them.
