I get a lot of emails concerning my grading of coins and certifying of coins.
What gives me the right to grade and certify coins?
What is really required when it comes to grading coins is INTEGRITY; which sad to say is really lacking in this hobby of coin collecting.
Everyone has an opinion and very seldom do two collectors and dealers agree when it comes to grading coins.
Anyone can grade coins; there is neither licence nor required permission from anybody to do so. It takes time before collectors will trust a new seller grading coins.
If you are a serious collector you should learn to grade coins so you know what you are buying or have bought.
Certifying of coins?
When I say a coin is certified; I mean that I guarantee the coin was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint and is not a counterfeit or a copy.
There are many counterfeit coins being sold on eBay. As far as I am concerned any coin that is a copy is counterfeit as it is very easy to remove the word copy off the coin and sell it as the real thing.
Many grading companies’ coin slab holders are being counterfeited and sold on eBay with either counterfeit coins in them or lower grade coins.
EBay’s policy of only allowing certain grading companies coins to be sold in the USA has made this counterfeit coin slan holder market really flourish on eBay.
I have the best money back guarantee on the internet!
I have a 7 day 100% no questions asked money back guarantee which includes shipping both ways. Some sellers have a money back guarantee less shipping; they still make money on shipping when product returned.
I handle my coins with cotton gloves and sell mainly new coins.
When it comes to Silver, Loon, & Two Dollar coins they should never be handled with bare hands as they will discolour and loose value quickly.
I never sell coins that I get in change no matter how nice of condition they are. I sell coins out of un-circulated mint rolls only.
I treat coins I grade and sell as if they were in my own collection.
