A home-based business founded in 1995. Started out as a hobby of folding colourful papers into flowers and making bouquet / arrangements to give out to friends, I began to explore other craft possibilities. Realizing I could make a small profit (less than 2% of total product cost) that can eventually add up to pay for bills, I went on to selling individual items to friends and co-workers. Soon enough, as I accumulate regular customers for items already made as well as personalized items, I branch out to local ads, yearly Arts & Crafts sale in my driveway during summer and, now, eBay Store. I... STILL... don't have the heart to charge more for my items. As long as I make even pennies after all fees are paid, I am happy. My moto is, cheap price keeps customers coming back.
The company, though mainly run by myself, has several close friends & family members who (privately) sells / promotes my products acting as employees / sales representatives. The name MichelleB's was a result of my first name (Michelle) and my dear husband's first initial (B). I guess you could say... this company has been & will continue to be driven with lots of love and care!
